2. Description of Service

FaceAgeMeter provides browser-based computer vision tools that estimate perceived age, face shape proportions, facial symmetry, and facial expressions from user-selected photos. All primary image analysis executes locally inside your web browser using WebAssembly and WebGL. Results are provided strictly for informational and entertainment purposes and do not constitute medical, dermatological, legal, or biometric identification advice.

3. User Responsibilities

When using FaceAgeMeter, you agree to:

• Use Lawful Images: Ensure that any photo you analyze or share is lawful and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
• Respect Others' Privacy: Do not analyze or generate shareable links for photos of other individuals without their permission.
• Comply with Applicable Laws: Use our tools in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Avoid Misuse: Do not use the service for harassment, discrimination, identity verification, or automated scraping.

Account Registration & Termination: When you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You may terminate your account and permanently purge all stored numerical scan data at any time directly from your Account Dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our usage guidelines.

4. Privacy Policy

5. Limitations of Accuracy

While FaceAgeMeter uses established computer vision landmark models (face-api.js 68-point detection and Google MediaPipe 478-point Face Landmarker), important limitations apply:

• Estimates vary based on lighting conditions, camera focal length, facial angles, glasses, and expressions.
• Perceived age, symmetry percentages, face shape classifications, and emotion scores are algorithmic approximations for entertainment and self-discovery, not clinical or scientific measurements.

FaceAgeMeter disclaims any liability for decisions or actions taken based on the outputs of these tools.

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Merchant of Record

Our order process and paid subscription billing are conducted by our online Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record for all digital transactions, provides customer billing inquiries, and manages applicable sales taxes and VAT compliance.

Paid plans (such as Pro GlowUp Pass) are subscription-based and renew automatically at the specified monthly interval unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting support at hello@faceagemeter.com. Refunds are honored within 7 days of purchase in accordance with our refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All original site content, branding, logos, text guides, and interface designs on FaceAgeMeter are the property of FaceAgeMeter or its open-source licensors. You retain full ownership of any personal photos you analyze in your browser.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

FaceAgeMeter is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FaceAgeMeter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website or its tools. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FaceAgeMeter and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms of Service or your misuse of the service.

11. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of FaceAgeMeter or these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
